BlockBeats News, January 13th, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, cryptocurrency KOL @old (account has been banned) spent 820,000 USDC in the past 4 hours to purchase 6.98 million NYC. Currently holding 203,000 USDC and may continue to buy.

Previously reported, former New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced the launch of the "NYC" token after leaving office, stating that the project aims to raise funds to combat anti-Semitism, anti-American sentiment, and promote children's blockchain education.
