Kite Mainnet Roadmap Revealed: Establishing AI Agent Native Trust and Payment Stack, Unpacking the Six Pillars
BlockBeats News, January 27th, AI Payment Public Chain Kite released the mainnet roadmap, aiming to build a trust and payment technology stack native to intelligent agents, addressing the trust, authorization, and payment bottlenecks in the transition of AI agents from "answering questions" to "executing tasks."
The roadmap clearly states that it is natively compatible with the x402 protocol, supporting standardized payment intent with pay-per-call and end-to-end auditability, and settlement support. It also decomposes the system capabilities into six independent pillars: Agent Trust (KitePass Identity Anchor + Programmable Governance), Agent Settlement (Stablecoin Native + Facilitator Component), Agent Developer Infrastructure (Zero Fee RPC + Documentation + Observability Tools), Agent Network Operation (External Validators + VaaS + Progressive Decentralization), AgenticFi (DEX + LSD + Cross-chain Bridging + Fiat On/Off-Ramps), Agent Ecosystem Growth Engine (Incentive System + Ecosystem Events).
Kite stated that the mainnet will be launched progressively, with delivery in phases over one to two years, prioritizing security, audibility, and ecosystem scalability balance, ultimately forming a sustainable intelligent agent economic system.
It is reported that Kite has previously completed a $33 million financing round led by PayPal Ventures and General Catalyst and received a strategic investment from Coinbase Ventures.
