The company said that its YTD yields for its Bitcoin stockpile equates to a gain of more than 61,000 BTC valued at around $5.8 billion. Bitcoin yield and gain are unofficial accounting metrics that Strategy uses to gauge the performance of its aggressive acquisition of the leading crypto. Chief Financial Officer Andrew Kang said that the goal is to boost the yield to 25%..To achieve the higher yield and Bitcoin target, the firm said in the call that it will double its 21/21 capital raise plan to $42 billion equity and $42 billion fixed income to purchase more Bitcoin. However, this gain was erased in after-hours trading. Despite this, the firm’s shares are still up more than 27% YTD. Data from SaylorTracker shows Strategy holds 553,555 BTC.
