Strategy has diverged from Bitcoin's trend, with a cumulative holding cost of approximately 62 billion USD
According to independent analyst Markus Thielen, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) currently has a cumulative purchase cost of approximately $62 billion for Bitcoin. Even though Bitcoin has been in a consolidation phase over the past two quarters, the company continues to finance through the capital markets and increase its BTC holdings.
Historically, the stock price of Strategy has been highly correlated with the price of Bitcoin. During bull markets, it shows stronger elasticity and relative performance, but when market momentum weakens, the stock price sometimes declines earlier than Bitcoin. Currently, the stock price of Strategy ($169) and Bitcoin ($78,658) have shown some divergence. If past patterns still apply, a subsequent convergence of the two may indicate an improvement in Strategy's relative performance, but ultimately it still depends on the overall market environment.
