United Nations Heads of Agencies Call for Accountability for Violations of International Law by All Sides in the Middle East

The declaration stated: "Just last month, thousands of civilians were killed or injured in the Middle East region. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, many having been forced to move multiple times. We call on all parties – whether United Nations member states or armed groups – to respect their legal obligations to protect civilians (including humanitarian workers) and civilian infrastructure. All violations must be brought to account."
